North Korea rejects new US demands for denuclearization

Pyongyang says all this indicates Washington's confrontational course. Nuclear weapons have been called an 'absolute guarantee' of sovereignty. The statement emphasized that repeated US demands will not alter the country's nuclear status. DPRK considers it meaningless to expect a reduction in tensions under the current US approach. Pyongyang's own policy toward Washington remains unchanged.
