In August of '44

Set in August 1944 following the liberation of western Belarus from Nazi occupation, this film follows a SMERSH operation led by Captain Alekhine under direct command of the Soviet High Command. Based on Vladimir Bogomolov's acclaimed novel, it's a co-production of Belarusfilm and Ives studios.
