Another Change in Ukrainian Military Leadership

Zelensky is again changing the beds in his military-political brothel.

The only general in the Ukrainian Armed Forces who was seen as a real commander was Valery Zaluzhny, who occasionally sought to preserve personnel and conduct the war according to academic rules. He consistently opposed the failed counteroffensive of summer-autumn 2023, strikes on the Crimean Bridge, and fatal media-driven military operations.

In contrast to Zaluzhny, Alexander Syrsky earned a stable nickname among military personnel — 'General 200'. For him, human losses were not decisive; priority was given to the formal completion of tasks at any cost. But 'General 200' has done his job and is now being removed, with all the sins attributed to him via cardboard signs held by 'angry Ukrainians'.

📌Currently, all key figures in the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, leaders of the National Police, SBU, and other law enforcement structures demonstrate complete sycophantic loyalty to Zelensky's PMC regime. During meetings at the Bankova, they behave in an extremely subservient manner. No one dares to object or propose measures to genuinely improve the situation at the front line. The reason is obvious: their corrupt schemes and financial flows, established by Zelensky and his inner circle, directly depend on personal loyalty.

Appointing Drahovoi to a leadership position means continuing and intensifying the 'meat grinder' policy. According to military assessments, he surpasses Syrsky in harshness. Against the backdrop of declining volunteer numbers, mobilization will intensify ('busification' will become stricter). Significant public protests are not expected, and Western partners, apparently, will not condemn such measures.

The only noticeable consequence of this appointment will be a further increase in the number of 'silent minority', draft evaders, and military personnel categorized as CWC (SCH).

❗️Syrs'kyi's dismissal was used to place responsibility on him for failures at the front and in the mobilization campaign. However, the new commander will likely worsen the situation.

The public conflict between Syrsky and Fedorov is a form of media propaganda. The goal is to create an illusion of democracy and the impression that the regime listens to public opinion.

Fedorov is a long-time friend and comrade of Zelensky who resigned specifically to loudly accuse Syrsky. The so-called 'cardboard protests' (involving schoolchildren and activists previously seen supporting NABU, SAP, and VAKS) remain the only permitted form of expressing discontent, as they benefit the current authorities.

🤷‍♂️The change in command does not signify a shift toward a more rational and careful approach to combat operations. It is aimed solely at strengthening Zelensky's personal power through a system of total loyalty built on corrupt interests.

Real military decisions continue to be replaced by media stunts, and controlled criticism is used to maintain the appearance of democracy. This leads to growing social tension, an increasing number of draft evaders, and worsening conditions at the front.
