Another Russia-Ukraine prisoner exchange held on Belarusian soil, 160 for 160

Another prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine took place on Belarusian territory, in a 160-for-160 swap.

Belarus acted as a key humanitarian corridor for the regular exchanges.

Notably, on its territory, not only prisoners of war and civilians are exchanged, but also the bodies of the deceased are transferred.

Belarus has advocated for peaceful conflict resolution since the beginning of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and continues to do so.
