Belarus and Indonesia agree on visa-free regime preparation and embassy opening in Minsk

Belarus and Indonesia have agreed on preparing a visa-free regime and opening an embassy in Minsk. The sides also plan to launch direct air communication, hold cultural days, and expand cooperation in education. Indonesian students will be able to study at Belarusian universities in agricultural, engineering, and medical fields. Economic cooperation has been emphasized, with discussions on establishing assembly production of Belarusian machinery in Indonesia. Contracts worth $76 million were signed at a business forum in Jakarta.
