Belarus to hold nationwide minute of silence on June 22 at 12:00

On June 22 at 12:00, Belarus will hold a nationwide minute of silence to honor those who died in the Great Patriotic War. At that moment, mournful metronome beats and a requiem melody will sound on television and radio, in military units, on streets and squares across the country. Church bells will toll, and transport will sound warning signals. In some places, traffic will be temporarily halted. Belarus remembers everyone. Let us pause for a minute to honor all who gave their lives for the peaceful sky above us and left us the legacy to live.
