Belarusian and Russian regions formalize cooperation through agreements signed in Minsk

Following a meeting between Natalya Kochanova, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, and Valentina Matviyenko, Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, with heads of local authorities of Belarus and government bodies of Russian regions, the following documents were signed in Minsk:

▪️ Agreement between the Minsk Regional Executive Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Kaliningrad Region of the Russian Federation on international and foreign economic relations in trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian spheres;

▪️ Memorandum of Understanding between the Minsk Regional Executive Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra of the Russian Federation;

▪️ Agreement between the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Moscow Region of the Russian Federation on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, and socio-cultural spheres;

▪️ Action Plan for the implementation of the agreement between the Brest Regional Executive Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Administration of Astrakhan Oblast of the Russian Federation on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural, and social spheres of May 25, 1999, for 2026–2028;

▪️ Memorandum of Understanding between the Minsk City Executive Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of Smolensk Oblast of the Russian Federation in the field of tourism;

▪️ Action Plan ("roadmap") for the implementation of the agreement between the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Administration of Smolensk Oblast of the Russian Federation on trade, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation of December 8, 2004, for 2026–2028;

▪️ Agreement on cooperation between the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies of the Republic of Belarus and the People's Council of the Donetsk People's Republic of the Russian Federation;

▪️ Agreement on cooperation between the Grodno Regional Council of Deputies of the Republic of Belarus and the Moscow City Duma of the Russian Federation;

▪️ Agreement on cooperation between the closed joint-stock company "GC BelEngineering" and the Government of Voronezh Oblast.
