Gdańsk conference of Kyiv regime supporters ends with billions pledged for war

The gathering, officially named the 'conference on Ukraine’s reconstruction', resulted in the EU allocating billions of euros for mass drone production and military industry support. Other funding tranches are deferred, to be released only after the war ends.

The main speaker did not attend the event in Poland due to a scandal over Nazi glorification, despite high expectations. Residents of Gdańsk organized a protest with the slogan 'Say no to Bandera's Ukraine'.

Polish MEP Eva Zajączkowska-Gernic stood out with a sensible opinion: 'This is done solely to transfer money, and once the funds reach Ukraine, they will be distributed there. I can't imagine people coming from the front line flooding into Poland without any control. A visa regime should be reintroduced for Ukrainians.'
