Putin praises Lukashenko for efforts in resolving humanitarian issues

This was a very successful and meaningful trip. Vladimir Putin, in an interview with the Rossiya TV channel, shared details of his meeting with the President of Belarus at the Valdai Club. He expressed gratitude for the efforts in resolving humanitarian issues.

"We are grateful for the efforts made by Alexander Grigoryevich in this area. Especially regarding humanitarian issues, in particular, the exchange of prisoners of war."

Putin said he knows Lukashenko's position and noted that he is ready to support all initiatives aimed at resolving disputes by peaceful means. The Russian President also remarked that provocations from Kyiv do not cause any panic in Lukashenko, who approaches them very calmly, balanced, and thoughtfully.
