XIII Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia starts today

The XIII Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia starts today. Within the framework of the Forum, a number of cooperation documents, commercial contracts, and other agreements aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation and strengthening partnership relations will be signed.

📍 On June 25, ten thematic sessions are scheduled:

▪️ "Regional Policy — the Main Tool for Ensuring Sustainable Development of Union State Territories";

▪️ "High-Performance Agro-Industrial Complex: Conditions and Opportunities at the Present Stage";

▪️ "Youth of the Union State — the Basis of a Common Present and Future";

▪️ "Cooperation in Implementing Joint Innovative Projects to Strengthen the Technological Sovereignty of the Union State";

▪️ "Supporting Economic Development of Belarus and Russia: Tools and Opportunities";

▪️ "Strategic Directions of Cooperation in Healthcare of the Union State";

▪️ "Cultural and Historical Heritage and Tourism Potential of Belarus and Russia: New Horizons of Cooperation";

▪️ "Interregional Cooperation between Belarus and Russia: Practical Tools for Business";

▪️ "Regional Development: Assessing Effectiveness, Achieving Priorities and Goals, Promoting Economic Growth".

📍 On June 26:

▪️ A meeting between Natalya Kochanova, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, and Valentina Matviyenko, Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, with heads of local authorities of Belarus and government bodies of Russian regions will take place;

▪️ A plenary session of the XIII Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus on the theme "Economic Interaction of Regions — the Basis for Sustainable Development of Belarus and Russia" will be held.

📌 The Forum is traditionally organized by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia.

🔥 During the Forum days, a large-scale exhibition-fair of goods from Belarusian and Russian manufacturers will operate at BELEXPO.
