Poland initiates law on preemptive deployment of NATO troops in potential threat zones
According to Rzeczpospolita, the draft law will allow redeploying military units to areas where there is a risk of threats emerging, without declaring martial law. The Ministry of Defence argues that such changes are necessary to address modern challenges, including hybrid and cyber attacks. Currently, the document is undergoing internal coordination.
Moreover, the initiative provides for advance preparation of infrastructure and state bodies for military operations, as well as expanding the list of agencies and organizations involved in the permanent defence alert and command system.
