Belarus and Russia to discuss investigative bodies

Within the framework of the opening day of the Union State investigative bodies' work in Minsk, a meeting took place between a Belarusian representative and the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin. Issues of coordination of investigations, data exchange, and joint efforts to combat organized crime were discussed. The Council on Investigative Affairs pledged to continue dialogue and strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

The Union State is a legal and economic union between Belarus and Russia, providing for the joint development of state security institutions.
