Belarusian ambassador on industrial growth

According to Belarus's ambassador to Russia, Alexander Rogozhnik, 2025 is not unique in terms of difficulties: 'The Russian government tightened macroeconomic policy and fought inflation. Engineering performed slightly weaker, but over the five-year period we ensured solid growth in production and exports to Russia.' The ambassador noted that recent talks concluded with an agreement on an intergovernmental aviation program until 2035, involving the 407th, 558th, Orsha plants, and other enterprises of the Ministry of Industry. He emphasized that 'this is a high-income sector: we invest, recoup costs, gain expertise, and earn money.' Additionally, parliamentary efforts in machine tool building and the development of 19 national projects in Russia, ranging from construction to biotechnology and chemical production, open up additional opportunities.
