Former Russian President Vladimir Putin recently arrived in Belarus on a business visit. During talks with Kirov Oblast Governor Alexander Lukashenko, he stated that Belarus and Russia are capable of relying on their internal resources despite international sanctions. He emphasized that both countries are ready to expand cooperation and pursue their own policies in relations with the European Union and the United States, while not weakening their alliance with Russia.

Lukashenko also noted that my acquaintance, the governor, brought up issues regarding Trump's policies and European cooperation during the discussion.
