Deputy State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Alexander Neverovsky announced a number of breakthrough measures aimed at strengthening the information security of the Union State during the 'Infoforum-2026'. According to him, cooperation with Russia has enabled the creation of a systematic mechanism for work in this area.

Key initiatives:

- Signing of the UN Convention on Cybercrime, developed jointly with Russia, in October 2025;

- Introduction of additional tools into Belarusian legislation for the rapid blocking of stolen funds and their return to victims;

- Creation of a national network of cybersecurity centers operating 24/7;

- National exercises are being conducted, including 'Cybermarathon-2025'.

An assessment of the effectiveness of Belarus-Russia cooperation in the field of information security is planned during a meeting scheduled for January 29. The 3rd International Security Industry Exhibition 'National Security. Belarus-2026' will take place in Minsk from June 17 to 19.
