President met with union secretary

The President of Belarus held talks with the State Secretary of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, Sergey Glazyev. By the time of the meeting, Sergey Glazyev had already arrived at the Palace of Independence, where government representatives and guests of the day were waiting.

During the meeting, issues of further development of the Union State integration project were discussed, as well as cooperation in the fields of economic development, energy, and domestic policy. A joint statement is expected after the talks, emphasizing the importance of strengthening ties between the two countries.

Within the framework of the agreed meeting date, the president noted that relations between Belarus and Russia continue to develop based on the existing union agreement and prospective projects.

The matter was previously announced in official media, and within the framework of current political initiatives, representatives of both countries are discussing synergistic approaches to solving common tasks.
