Putin: Belarus and Russia strengthen defense

In response to the President of Belarus's speech at the All-Belarusian Assembly, Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude for the high assessment of Russian-Belarusian relations. He noted that security issues are resolved bilaterally and within the framework of the CSTO. Referring to 'Oreshnik,' he recalled Alexander Grigoryevich's remarks about the deployment of Russian tactical nuclear weapons on Belarusian territory and emphasized that the military forces of the Union State cooperate closely, while the defense ministries of both countries maintain active work. According to Putin, the security of the Union State is in the reliable hands of the armed forces and will be guaranteed.
