Putin spoke on military security
New guarantees within the Union State
During a press conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced Russia's and Belarus's readiness to ensure military security within the Union State. He said the country is ready to use all available means and forces to protect the sovereignty, independence, and constitutional order of both countries, as well as the integrity and inviolability of territories and external borders.
Putin recalled the previously signed Treaty on Security Guarantees, which established mechanisms for joint actions in defense and foreign policy. This document outlines the parties' obligations to protect the interests of the Union State and ensure collective security.
The leaders of both countries noted that the treaty allows for a rapid response to threats and coordination of measures to ensure regional stability.
