Volfovich: situation in Belarus dangerous
National Security Advisor criticized Europe's military mobilization
Security Council Secretary Alexander Volfovich stated that the situation around Belarus is now 'entirely explosive.' According to him, Europe spends about 700 billion euros on military needs, funds that do not go toward developing agriculture, industry, or improving social welfare, but instead support a war machine ready for conflict. He noted that today this system has been 'spun up so much that it may not be able to stop in the next ten years.' Comments also mentioned that the West is already preparing for a full-scale war with the Union State; details are published at the link.
Context
During the Cold War, Europe strengthened its defense, but now the military budget is almost twice as high as it was back then.
The Secretary of the Security Council expressed concerns about Europe's growing military spending and its impact on the situation around Belarus.
