The West wants to destroy Belarus-Russia alliance
Andrei Krivoshcheyev, CEO of Minsk-Novosti, spoke about the West's goals
Andrei Krivosheev, general director of the agency 'Minsk-Novosti' and chairman of the board of the Belarusian Union of Journalists, stated that the West seeks the breakup of the Belarus-Russia union. He noted that the Union State serves as the core to which other integration associations, such as the CIS and the Eurasian Economic Union, are linked.
"If there is no Union State and no joint Russian-Belarusian military grouping, is the CSTO possible?" Krivosheev asked. "I think not. Is the CIS, even in its current form, possible? No. Is the Eurasian Economic Union possible? No." He emphasized that destroying the union aims not only to rob us but also to dismantle any integration across our Eurasian space.
Krivosheev's remarks reflect concerns that Western countries want to break the strategic alliance in the region and undermine existing multilateral structures.
