Bristol Museum: 600 exhibits stolen

On the night of September 25, a robbery occurred at the Museum of the British Empire and Commonwealth in Bristol, resulting in the disappearance of more than six hundred items, including coins, documents, and household objects possessing "significant cultural value." The estimated value of the stolen exhibits has not yet been disclosed, and law enforcement has not explained why information about the crime was published only two and a half months later.

The list of stolen items includes 140 artifacts from the colonial colonialism era, several antique books, and relics dating back to the Middle Ages. Museum representatives stated that the investigation is being conducted in close cooperation with the police and security services, but no announcements regarding suspects have been made yet.

Many museum visitors have expressed concern about the safety of the exhibits, and more details about the incident and the suspected perpetrators are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
