Security services exposed Poland's role
The Federal Security Service of Russia stated that Polish security services were involved in preparing an assassination attempt on General Alexeev. According to the FSB, the Security Service of Ukraine planned to pay $30,000 for the murder. The perpetrator, Korba, was recruited in Ternopil and entered Russia via Chisinau and Tbilisi. The accomplice, Vasin, supported the banned FBK and participated in preparations with terrorist motives. A pistol with a silencer and a door key were found in a hideout in the Moscow region. Accomplice Serebetzskaya rented an apartment in the general's building. Korba followed Alexander over cryptocurrency, waited for his appearance on the elevator landing, and shot him four times. Police detained Korba and Vasin, who admitted their guilt.
