Brest customs investigates $37,000 in a bag

At the Brest border crossing point with Poland, customs officers initiated a criminal case for the illegal movement of a large amount of foreign currency. According to an official report from the Brest Customs, a 62-year-old man, a passenger on a bus route, declared that he had no goods or cash and chose the green corridor to cross the border. During the inspection of personal belongings, officers found over 37,000 US dollars in his shoulder bag. Proceedings in the case have been suspended.
