Armed robbery in Smolevichi district

Around 4:00 a.m., an alarm was triggered at a private house in the Smolevichi district. Officers from the Zhodino Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Protection Department arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers cordoned off the property where three armed suspects were located. The suspects opened fire on the officers, who responded with service weapons. Two attackers were detained immediately, while the third fled with a weapon but was soon apprehended under the special 'Siren' plan. All three are foreign nationals: one is 17 years old, two are 18. Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov personally arrived at the scene. A joint investigative team from the Investigative Committee is working on the case, and due to the nature of the attack, the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Belarus has been involved. Three injured individuals (born 1958–1962) were taken to the hospital; their conditions are being clarified.
