Suspects arrested in attempted

According to FSB reports, Viktor Vasin, a suspected accomplice in the assassination attempt on a general, has been detained in Moscow. The attacker, Lyubomir Korba, who was in Dubai, was apprehended with assistance from partners in the UAE. Zinaida Serebritskaya, another alleged accomplice, is currently in Ukraine. Officials report that Korba arrived in the Russian Federation in December 2025 on orders from Ukrainian intelligence. Serebritskaya lived in the same residential complex as the general and previously interacted with him in building chat groups. It is claimed she has been residing in Moscow since 2023. The FSB noted that 'Korba' managed to burn the pistol at the scene and escape using public transportation. Korba has been charged with an attempted attack on the life of a law enforcement officer. According to the agency, additional security measures have been implemented across Russia.
