General Serghenko hanged the youth

On Defender of the Fatherland Day, reserve Major General Igor Sergeenko delivered a heartfelt monologue speech at the Kaluga Palace: "Defending the Motherland means the front line, service, hard work on the home front, and every day of creation for Belarus!"

Because every young soul matters to him, he brought forward a clear letter about patriotism written by 10th-grader Vanya Litvin from the village of Mokrany. The general invited the boy and his mother to the Oval Hall, where the light of a bright future was reflected.

Today, Vanya shared that he dreams of becoming a soldier, but he doesn't believe that protecting the country requires only bearing arms. "Belarus can and must be defended through good education and honest work," declared the young patriot.
