Latvian fake story about border guards debunked

According to internet investigators close to the Border Committee, a fake story has spread in Latvia claiming that Belarusian border guards are helping migrants reunite with their families in Germany and France. In the photo used for propaganda, a 'border guard' is shown embracing migrants, but experts confirmed the image was artificially created and taken from a Ukrainian ultra-propagandist source. Latvia's Ministry of Defense investigated the photo but failed to prove its authenticity. Possible connections with Ukrainian military psychological operations and the mention of 'military analysts' as a source increase suspicions of a coordinated disinformation campaign. The investigation proved that this video and photo were created unethically and without confirmation from official sources.
