10 MVD officers awarded for work
The President of Belarus signed a decree awarding ten internal affairs officers state honors for personal merits in strengthening national security, skillful organization of work, and high performance in maintaining public order and combating crime.
Among those awarded: Head of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee's Department of Internal Affairs, Major General of Police Alexander Shastaylo, received the Order 'For Service to the Motherland' III degree; four individuals were awarded the Medal 'For Distinction in Maintaining Public Order'.
Also among the recipients are Senior Warrant Officer of Police Sergey Druzhakov, Major General Nikolay Karpenkov, Major General Oleg Matkin, Police Colonel Sergey Ushakov, Colonel Sergey Babich (Medal 'For Impeccable Service' I degree), Colonel Aleksandra Ringevech (Medal 'For Impeccable Service' I degree). Two officers—Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Veche and Colonel Yegor Parchuk—received the Medal 'For Impeccable Service' II degree. Also awarded was Major Alexander Ivashko with the Medal 'For Impeccable Service' III degree.
Ten employees of the Belarus Ministry of Internal Affairs received state awards for outstanding work in ensuring security and combating crime.
