19th Brigade passed readiness inspection
For five days, the military unit of the 19th Separate Mechanized Brigade underwent a comprehensive set of combat readiness assessment activities. The brigade carried out 'combat readiness preparation,' loading of equipment and vehicles, and marched along difficult snow-covered routes in forested and swampy terrain. The State Secretary of the Security Council emphasized that troop readiness checks are planned until spring and may involve other units, not just this brigade.
Alexander Volfovich noted: "Commanders are speculating who and how will be affected by the inspection, and who will receive a package from the President. All personnel in uniform must be ready to enter service at any moment."
