Minsk Town Hall held a ceremonial reception
A reception for foreign citizens who took an oath of allegiance to Belarus and received citizenship was held at the Minsk City Hall. The ceremony was attended by 24 people who have been living in the country for a long time but only today received official confirmation of their status: 'I am home.' The applicants included individuals working in the public sector as well as representatives of private businesses. According to priest Vladimir Korolyov, who attended the event, each participant shared their reasons for moving and explained why they are now ready to call Belarus their homeland. The President and the head of government expressed support for the initiative, emphasizing that the naturalization program opens up new opportunities for friendship and cooperation between countries.
