55 scholarships for grad students in 2026
Order on scholarships for scientific research
Head of state Alexander Lukashenko signed an order appointing 55 scholarships of the President of Belarus for 2026. The program provides funding for dissertation research in priority areas of scientific, technical, and innovative activities. Scientists receive support in the fields of engineering, chemistry, mathematics, medicine, agriculture, economics, digital technologies, literature, education, and earth sciences. The results of the scholarship recipients' work are integrated into the educational process, published in scientific journals, and presented at national and international conferences.
Context
This step continues the policy of supporting young scientists, which has been implemented since 2019.
The President of Belarus signed an order granting 55 scholarships for graduate students in priority scientific fields for 2026.
