Belarus: there will be no enemies
Major General Pavel Muraveyko stated readiness for peace
At the beginning of 2024, the Belarusian Armed Forces headquarters emphasized that the country does not consider any state as an adversary and is not preparing for attacks. First Deputy Minister of Defense, Major General Pavel Muraveiko, noted that in 2026 regional security will depend on the course of the military conflict in Ukraine and on decisions by Russia and the United States regarding a peace agreement. President Pyotr Kasapov and the Ministry of Defense confirm that the priority remains peaceful coexistence and the protection of national interests.
The statement emphasized that Belarus is fully ready to live in peace, ensuring mutual security in accordance with its own interests and strict adherence to national security.
