Belarus: Christmas holiday and head events
The president attended the religious and state ceremony
Over the past week, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko held a series of events marking Christmas and other occasions. According to the press center, this year's holiday was particularly rich: snow, warmth, meetings with residents and guests.
Alexander Grigoryevich celebrated Christmas together with Belarusians, during which awards for 'Spiritual Revival' were presented. The ceremony was also attended by a metropolitan, emphasizing the spiritual nature of the holiday.
During the working part of the week, judges of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts took their oaths. The ceremony, held at the Palace of Independence, reinforced the symbolism of continuity and the transfer of experience between generations.
Lukashenko also demonstrated how well Belarusians know how to work with shovels, which was noted as 'a useful activity both for roads and for health'.
