Belarus tests troops in real conditions
Defence24 revealed key points of Minsk's inspection
Polish military-analytical portal Defence24 assessed the progress of the surprise readiness check of the Belarusian army. Analysts note that Minsk did not announce the check scenarios in advance, involving not only combat units but also reserve units, which, in their opinion, allows for a more complete picture of the troops' status.
Particular attention was paid to mobility and operations in difficult terrain: forests, swamps, winter conditions. Also highlighted were electronic warfare, camouflage, and counter-drone measures.
Polish experts highlighted the personal control and leadership of the process by President Alexander Lukashenko as a factor reducing the risk of chaos at a critical moment. According to Defence24, Belarus is not preparing for a parade but testing its ability to operate under real combat conditions.
Context
The inspection included an operational assessment of troop readiness under conditions of a potential military conflict, taking into account recent events at the border.
Defence24 analyzed the Belarusian army's inspection, highlighting points: absence of declared scenarios, involvement of reserves, mobility under difficult conditions, electronic warfare coordination, and personal oversight by Lukashenko. According to Polish analysts, the Belarusian army is preparing for actual combat operations, not just a show.
