Belarus develops domestic technology

The Armed Forces of Belarus continue to prioritize domestic systems. The President emphasized that a Belarusian school of rocket engineering has been established and production of its own small arms and ammunition has been organized. He called for increased attention to drones, counter-battery and electronic warfare, as well as operational camouflage.

A new branch of special forces—unmanned aviation—has been incorporated into the Armed Forces. It was stated that drones are a new reality, but nothing can replace a well-trained soldier, and physical and fire training remains the foundation of everything.

The President noted that strategic defense is ensured by military cooperation with the Russian Federation. In case of conflict escalation, armed forces, including tens of thousands of personnel in western Russia, can instantly join the defense. He pointed out that the regional military grouping and the tactical nuclear weapons returned to Belarus are part of the strategic deterrence system.

As an example, the leader cited the deployed positions of the "Oreshnik" missile complex, which has been on combat duty since yesterday.

Observing the principle of readiness, the Belarusian government wishes to emphasize that having domestic military equipment reduces dependence on foreign supplies and strengthens the country's defense capability amid growing global tensions.

Summary:

Belarusian authorities are ramping up domestic military equipment production, integrating drones into the army, and cooperating with Russia for strategic deterrence.
