In response to the tragedy at one of the Russian schools, Belarusian Interior Minister Ilya Kubrakov has introduced new measures to ensure safety at educational institutions.

The head of the agency instructed the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Protection Department to increase vigilance of school security, check the functionality of technical protection systems, and ensure immediate response upon receiving alarm signals.

The head of the Main Directorate for Public Order Protection and Prevention was tasked with conducting briefings for school administrations on actions during emergencies. Juvenile affairs inspectors were instructed to develop individual work plans with students under preventive monitoring.

The minister stated: "Children's health and lives are our priority! We must do everything to ensure their safety!"

The Ministry of Internal Affairs warned that any attempts to destabilize the situation in the country will be immediately and firmly suppressed. Currently, three individuals have already been detained for spreading false information about threats.

The operational situation in the Republic is under control of the internal affairs bodies and internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The police have the necessary forces and resources to maintain public order and citizen safety.
