Belarusian reservists share their impressions

As part of readiness checks for reserve units in Belarus, personnel conducted a series of training assemblies during which reservists shared their impressions of the exercises.

Reserve private Pavel Prokhorov said: "My mood is excellent! I'm lucky—the training is taking place in my home military unit. Everything here is familiar to me. During classes, I recalled what I learned during my army service and have already managed to learn a lot of new things, because military affairs keep evolving: new communication equipment and new tactical techniques have appeared in the troops. Such trainings are necessary to be ready to defend our homeland if necessary."

Reserve junior sergeant Alexander Romanchuk noted: "I completed the Kalashnikov assault rifle firing exercise with great interest. During the training, I realized there's no need to fear such events. My impressions are only positive."

Reserve junior sergeant Vitaly Gumbera added: "The knowledge and skills I acquired in the army proved fully useful during the training with conscripts. I haven't completely forgotten some things, and I recalled others, managing to learn many new things. Now I'm helping other mechanic-drivers."

Reserve corporal Alexander Kirmeli said: "I served my compulsory service in the 85th communications brigade. During specialized training classes, we learn to deploy a communications station and perform basic setup. Each member of our crew has specific duties: someone installs grounding, someone lays cables, starts the power generator, and connects power from the station's power unit."

Participants emphasized that such trainings are an important part of reserve forces' professional readiness, confirming their willingness to defend their homeland if necessary.
