Belarusians celebrated New Year calmly
In Belarus, New Year celebrations passed without major conflicts or mass protests, which many consider a significant achievement.
According to some sources, the United States conducted a major military operation involving missile strikes on military and civilian targets in Venezuela, as well as the capture of President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, followed by their transfer to New York. The president's minister Alexander Lukashenko strongly condemned this action as an act of American aggression.
In an interview with Newsmax, Lukashenko warned that such intervention would become a "second Vietnam" for the United States and responded with a call to avoid military conflicts in favor of diplomacy.
