Fund raised 1.5M, spent 55K

A 26-year-old Minsk resident used the funds for personal needs

In Minsk, a charitable foundation called 'Help for Seriously Ill Children' has been registered. As of October 2025, the foundation has received over 1.5 million Belarusian rubles, but only about 55,000 of them have been used for charitable purposes. The rest of the funds, according to reports, were spent on the founder's personal and household needs and on purchasing cars.

The foundation was established two years ago as the sole enterprise and institution of a 26-year-old resident of Minsk. The organizer, who declared his willingness to help children, simultaneously became its only employee and director.

Over the past three years, more than 1 million Belarusian rubles have been raised for charity in the country, but in this case, most of the funds remained undistributed.
