Belarus leader signs decree Year
19 new sites and 708 facilities completed in Grodno
On the first working day of 2025, the President of the Republic of Belarus signed Decree No. 1 "Year of Improvement", elevating these issues to the highest level of the agenda. In the Grodno region, 19 new children's and sports playgrounds have been implemented, and 708 facilities have been refurbished—significantly exceeding the initial plan of 12 playgrounds and 498 facilities.
The State Control Committee emphasized the need to strengthen oversight of work execution: sidewalks, pathways, benches, trash bins, and lighting. Strict control over the quality and pace of activities is now under the direct supervision of the president.
According to official records, the signing of the decree and project implementation were completed within the approved budget, although further development will be subject to additional regulations and inspections.
