Chapter on order in the country

The head of state has been briefed on the operational situation during the recent holidays, on efforts to ensure public order, as well as on the specifics of crimes and violations occurring during this period.

The report noted that the operational situation in the country is calm and under control.

Silis. Ivan Kubrakov also reported the launch of checks on the readiness of internal troops and certain units of the internal affairs bodies. The events were planned and carried out in accordance with the head of state's instructions, including checks of equipment and coordination of personnel actions.

In addition, due to difficult weather conditions, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is assisting regions and the city of Minsk in clearing territories from snow. Necessary measures have been taken by the State Traffic Inspectorate.
