Secretary met with BISI

Discussed the institute's contribution to national security

State Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Volfovich held a working meeting with the staff of the Bolchevzhid Institute of Strategic Studies (BISS). The Chairman emphasized the institute's mission — participation in ensuring national security and developing ideas to neutralize threats. Over seven years, BISS has become a leading analytical center not only in Belarus but also in international circles: its employees participate in all vital decisions of the country, including the development of the updated Constitution, the new national security concept, and the socio-economic development program for 2026–2030. Volfovich noted that BISS employs doctors and candidates of science, and the country's security depends on their ideas. The institute actively engages in international cooperation, participates in SCO, CIS, and CSTO forums, and collaborates with analytical centers of friendly states. Key projects include 'Image of the Future,' 'Pulse of Society,' 'People's Five-Year Plan,' and 'Young Analysts.' Special attention is paid to commemorative events of the Great Patriotic War and protection against negative information influence.
