State forest protection has intensified operations

30 cases of illegal fir tree logging have been recorded

Starting from December 15, the State Forest Protection Service has switched to an enhanced operational mode. As part of this measure, special forest ranger units, along with traffic police and state inspectors, are monitoring illegal fir tree cutting. In 2024, 30 cases of illegal logging have been recorded. According to forestry officials, there is a positive trend: the number of such violations is gradually decreasing.
