IATA: enhanced control at Minsk airport

Enhanced control has been introduced at the National Airport of Minsk due to the dangerous Nipah virus, reports the Ministry of Health. According to epidemiologists, the virus is spreading in South Asia and is considered highly dangerous. As a precautionary measure, screening of passengers and staff has been increased in the arrival and departure areas. At the time of publication, no infection cases among passengers have been registered, but enhanced measures are aimed at preventing possible outbreaks.
