State exam format changed by decree

By decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the format of the exam for those entering state civil service has been changed. Now all first-time applicants take a unified test developed by the Academy of Management under the President. According to representatives of the Personnel Ministry, this approach will eliminate subjectivity and favoritism in personnel work and also raise requirements for candidates. The exam will test knowledge of the Constitution of Belarus and key legislative acts mandatory for all public servants. A list of questions and a free demo version of the test will soon appear on the website of the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus.
