President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated law enforcement officers on Police Day and emphasized that the history of the Belarusian police is an inseparable part of the nation's history.

"In any weather, regardless of circumstances, employees of the internal affairs bodies tirelessly and selflessly serve to protect law and order in our cities and villages, protect citizens from criminal attacks, save people's lives, sometimes risking their own," said the President.

He thanked all veterans of the agency for their contribution to strengthening security and stability in the state, and expressed appreciation to female officers who serve alongside men in special units.

Lukashenko noted that the personnel of the internal affairs bodies will continue to justify the people's trust by ensuring legality and public order in the country.

"Wished everyone peace, kindness, strong health and success in service for the benefit of the people of Belarus" — the President concluded his statement.
