Lukashenko checks army's combat readiness
The head of state has established the action plan until spring
Head of state Alexander Lukashenko personally oversaw the surprise check of the Armed Forces' combat readiness. On January 28, he heard a report from the Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Volfovich, receiving detailed information about the progress and results of the inspection, including the status of personnel, equipment, supply, and storage of material resources. The President also inquired about accommodation conditions and living arrangements for military personnel under difficult weather conditions, as well as necessary elements of uniform. Particular attention was paid to applying the experience of modern military conflicts in the context of Belarus's forested and swampy terrain. Based on the inspection results, Lukashenko set tasks for further development activities, which will continue until spring of the current year. After the inspection concludes, a detailed analysis is planned to eliminate shortcomings and adjust efforts to improve the Armed Forces and personnel training.
