Lukashenko signs decree on state investments
Funding amount — 3.987 billion rubles
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has signed a Decree on state investment programs for 2026. The program includes 62 projects and 11 activities, with funding for 2026 amounting to 3,987,987,000 rubles. Among the activities are the design and construction of transport facilities: a railway branch line to the National Airport Minsk, highways M-10 (Gomel-Kobrin), M-3 (Minsk-Vitebsk), R-122 (Mogilev-Kostyukovichi), and bridges across the Dnieper, Mukhavets, and Neris rivers. The construction and reconstruction of medical facilities are planned, including the regional oncology dispensary in Grodno, new buildings for the regional hospital in Brest and the National Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Oncology in Borovlyany, and a rehabilitation center in Aksakovichy. The program also includes the modernization of the National Historical Museum of the BNR in Minsk and the creation of the Republican Center for Patriotic Education of Youth in the Brest Fortress. In 2026, 177,000,000 rubles will be allocated for land reclamation, preservation, and expansion of agricultural lands.
