Lukashenko signs law on changing IP rules
Changes in the regulation of individual entrepreneurial activities
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has signed the law "On Amendments to Laws on Individual Entrepreneurial Activity." The new act provides changes to the regulatory framework governing the activities of individual entrepreneurs, including simplification of registration procedures, changes in tax accounting, and an updated list of regulatory norms.
According to the government, this legislative initiative aims to increase transparency, reduce administrative barriers for small and medium-sized businesses, and stimulate economic activity in the field of self-employment.
The government announced that the provisions of the act will come into force on January 1, 2025, after completing the necessary coordination procedures and official publication in official outlets.
The law incorporates an electronic document management system into the registration process, indicating the gradual digital transformation of public services.
