Lukashenko congratulated police officers

Today in Belarus, Police Day is being celebrated, and Alexander Lukashenko personally congratulated employees and veterans of the internal affairs bodies. He expressed his gratitude, highlighting their 'great selflessness' and calling them an 'inseparable part of the history of the Belarusian people'.

"The biography of the Belarusian police is an inseparable part of our nation's history, composed of the lives of thousands of people devoted selflessly to duty and Fatherland," noted the president.

Regardless of weather and circumstances, service personnel constantly protect citizens' rights and freedoms, saving lives and risking their own.

In the Year of the Belarusian Woman, Lukashenko separately thanked female police officers who serve with honor alongside men, including in special units.

"Happy holiday, dear police officers! Thank you for your daily heroism!" — concluded the president's address.
